How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

Third-Party Services
Advertising: We use WordAds, provided by Automattic Inc., to display advertisements on our website. WordAds and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your interests. For more information, please see Automattic’s Privacy Policy at automattic.com/privacy.
External Shop Links: Our website contains links to products sold through third-party platforms. When you visit these external platforms, their own privacy policies apply. We do not process any payment information directly.
WordPress: Our website is hosted on WordPress, which may collect certain data as part of its service. Please see WordPress.com’s Privacy Policy for details.
GrammarLens: GrammarLens uses Anthropic’s Claude API to analyse the text you enter. When you submit a sentence, it is sent from your browser through our processing service (a Cloudflare Worker) to Anthropic’s servers for analysis. We do not store any text you enter into the tool, and our processing service does not retain it. Anthropic temporarily retains API inputs for up to 7 days for safety and abuse-prevention purposes, then deletes them. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models.
For more information, see Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Where GrammarLens is used by pupils within an educational institution that has subscribed to our Business tier, the institution acts as data controller in relation to its pupils. The institution’s own privacy notices and data protection arrangements apply to that use under the laws of its country. We act as a service provider on the institution’s behalf in relation to the limited technical processing required to deliver the tool. No pupil data is stored on our systems, and no analytical text is retained beyond the temporary processing described in our GrammarLens section above.
